Shilpa Shetty spent her first wedding anniversary yesterday in Dubai with husband Raj Kundra at her new home on the ninetieth floor of the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. Says a source close to the actress, "Shilpa was thrilled when Raj gifted her the luxury apartment. It's his wedding anniversary gift to her. He gifted her the keys in Mumbai a week ago.

Baja Fresh Mexican Grill, a quick-casual chain, has opened its first international location at the entrance of Burj Khalifa in Dubai, UAE. The menu features an array of tacos, burritos, salads and fajitas made from fire-grilled meats and produce. The restaurant also features a salsa bar. The restaurant said that the new 900sqft outlet is owned and operated by Khalil Asfour, of Vetra Investments. Mr Asfour also owns and operates a number of other concepts and has secured the rights to develop Baja Fresh’s sister brand La Salsa, with plans to open its first location in Dubai later in 2010.

The name “Atmosphere” refers to the height of the restaurant’s location; it is stationed so high on top the Burj Khalifa that it is, metaphorically, in atmosphere. A visit to this unique and special lounge resulted in gourmet bar food, excellent service, and of course, an outstanding selection of specialty beverages.
