Dubai: Greek composer and pianist Yanni, acclaimed for his instrumental music, will perform in front of the iconic Burj Khalifa on October 28, organisers have announced.


Known for his live arrangements at global landmarks including India’s Taj Mahal, Greece’ Acropolis of Athens and the Forbidden City in China, Yanni will enthrall fans at the 6,000-capacity Burj Park in Downtown Dubai for one night only, a spokesperson for M4 Events told tabloid!

The Grammy-nominated musician, previously known for his locks, launched his first studio album in 1984. His breakthrough commercial success however came with the release of his album and video Yanni Live at the Acropolis in 1994. He has released more than 20 albums and live albums.

Yanni’s Dubai performance follows a concert in Muscat, Oman, at the Sultan Qaboos University Cultural Centre Grand Hall. Tickets priced at Dh350, Dh550, Dh750, Dh1,500 are now on sale. For more information, go to
