Thick fog has blanketed Dubai… and Shaikh Hamdan’s Instagram page.
While you clear your windscreen and struggle to drive through the foggy roads, take a moment to pause and look around. Dubai looks breathtaking with all its sparkling skyscrapers, covered in shades of grey and white. Whether rain, shine or fog, the city is always a photographer’s delight.
In a series of images posted on Instagram, Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council is sending social media into a spin. The photograph taken from a high-rise building using his iPhone has already garnered more than 101,000 likes.
Many parts of the UAE, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi, were covered in thick, dense fog on Monday morning.
The national met agency, NCMS, has predicted foggy weather over the next few days.
