The real estate market in Dubai may be still be in bumpy territory, but for the super-rich, the recession probably regarded as an unfortunate event that happened to someone else.

Earlier this month, Arabian Business revealed that apartment sellers in the Burj Khalifa Armani Residences have listed a number of two-bedroom units with asking prices of AED30m ($8.1m) each.

Such a high valuation was met with surprise by some analysts, who believe that some prices in the emirate are being artificially inflated in order to build strength back into the market.

But which are the most expensive properties currently on sale in the emirate?

Unsurprisingly, these villas and apartments are in the most desirable sections of Dubai, with the majority coming from the Marina and Emirates Hills. There is also an entire floor of the Burj Khalifa thrown in, if you have some change handy.
