The Civil Defence heads, who conducted a high-level meeting in Burj Khalifa, also evaluated the systems and emergency preparedness of the world’s tallest building. They congratulated Emaar Properties PJSC, the developer of the tower, for the excellence and best practices in implementing advanced safety systems.

Burj Khalifa implements the highest standards in safety with the operations monitored through a dedicated command centre that employs state-of-the-art technologies.

Described as a ‘Vertical City’ and ‘A Living Wonder,’ Burj Khalifa rises high at 828 metres (2,716.5 ft) and was honoured with the ‘Global Icon’ status by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH). Burj Khalifa is at the heart of Downtown Dubai, the 500-acre mega development by Emaar Properties, described as ‘The Centre of Now.’
