Emaar Properties awarded the winners of the fifth Emaar Best Garden Competition 2010, an annual event organized by Emaar Community Management, open to residents of Emirates Living and Arabian Ranches.

The objective of the competition is to encourage residents to enhance the aesthetics of the communities through active participation in gardening and landscaping their homes.

Several residents in the Emirates Living and Arabian Ranches communities took part in the competition. They showcased their skills in gardening and landscaping, which were evaluated by an expert panel of judges.

Mr Ahmad Juma Al Falasi, Executive Director Property Management, Emaar Properties, said: The Emaar Best Garden Competition is one of the several initiatives of Emaar Community Management to strengthen community involvement and foster solidarity among the residents of our neighbourhoods. The competiton also highlights the emphasis that Emaar places in promoting the environment both in terms of conservation and overall aesthetics.

This year, the competition was held in the categories of Best Large Garden, Best Small Garden, and Best Variety & Creativity. The entries were evaluated on aesthetics, creativity, and attention to detail. The winners are:

Best Large Garden: Mr Mark and Jenie Blanksby (The Meadows 1) and Ms. Nidhi Chowdhary (Arabian Ranches Alvorado 2).

Best Small Garden: Mr Taleb Ibrahim (The Springs 3) and Mr Moufid Ben Dekhil (Arabian Ranches Mirador).

Best Variety and Creativity: Mr Shadi Hasan (The Springs 8) and Mr Graham Alban (Arabian Ranches Alvorado 4).

The winners, felicitated by Emaars Senior Management, were presented with trophies and gift vouchers for luxury treatments at The Spa, located at The Address Dubai Marina, a five star premium hotel that has recently opened in the Dubai Marina community. The winners were also given token photographs of their gardens by Emaar Community Management.
