He’s known to spin epic love stories and what better place to weave romance than atop Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa? Yes, you read right. The world’s tallest building will be featured in director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s opulent TV serial Saraswatichandra.
The show, which will premiere in the UAE on Star Plus on Monday, has been partly shot in the UAE with several landmarks of this region being featured in the serial. Bhansali is the creative director and producer of the show.
“Saraswatichandra promises to mesmerise audiences with its intensely passionate love story set against a backdrop of breathtaking sets.” said Nachiket Pantvaidya, General Manager of Star Plus in a statement.
Bhansali, the man behind Bollywood blockbusters including Devdas and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, hasn’t strayed away from his trademark style. Expect a heavy dose of emotions, drama and grand elaborate sets in this modern day love story for the small-screen. More info
