DUBAI – Dubai Bank on Monday announced that it had won the award for Banking and Finance Implementation of the Year at the Arabian Computer News (ACN) Arab Technology Awards.

In a highly competitive field, Dubai Bank was honoured for the innovation of its customer relationship management, or CRM, project which has enhanced the products and services it offers to customers.

Now in their sixth year, the prestigious awards recognise the region’s top technology projects, vendors, integrators and service providers.

The award was accepted by Dubai Bank CIO Faizal Eledath during the ceremony held at the Armani Hotel, Burj Khalifa.

“The CRM initiative in Dubai Bank was conceived and implemented with a business philosophy that puts the customer at the centre of our bank. This comprehensive project covered processes around customer service, sales and marketing, across multiple channels,” Eledath said.

“We are delighted that this prestigious award recognises the successful implementation of our CRM system which further enhances the service we give to our customers,” he added.

“Dubai Bank won this year’s Banking and Finance Sector Implementation of the Year by demonstrating that it has not just invested in technology but has used IT to create step change within its organisation, and change the face of the products and services it offers its customers,” ACN Editor Ben Furfie said.

The ACN Arab Technology Award comes in the same month that Dubai Bank was named best Islamic Bank by Ethos Consultancy.
