Hollywood actor Tom Cruise has reportedly left a doodle to his wife Katie Holmes etched in the top spire of the Dubai’s Burj Khalifa while filming stunts for his latest movie Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.

A top the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, sits a thin, white spire that seems to puncture the sky. This is the highest any person can get on a man-made structure on this planet.

And there, scrawled 15 feet from the very top of the spire, is Tom Cruise’s autograph. His name and a doodled heart with an inscription to his wife, Katie Holmes, and children.

Cruise spent four days filming action scenes for “MI: Ghost Protocol” on the world’s tallest building, and used the Burj Khalifa as the signature set piece in the movie. Now, it seems, he also left his mark on the building.

“The only person who will ever see [Cruis’e art] is the guy who paints the building some day,” the film’s stunt coordinator Gregg Smrz told the New York Post newspaper.

“Fear of falling was the first thought that went through my head when I lunged out of that building,” recalled Cruise, whilst hanging nearly 100 floors off the ground, adding: “I just really, really hoped I wouldn’t fall,” Cruise said last week. More info
