A new contemporary art space, The Pavilion Downtown Dubai, is set to open on Thursday February 24. Al Rigga, Al Seef, Jumeirah Beach Residence, and the Burj Khalifa Boulevard will host a variety of entertainment events throughout DSF to take the celebration to residents and visitors.

The fireworks display on New Year's Eve at Burj Khalifa will be the highest in the world and will be guided by satellites, XPRESS can exclusively reveal. The visual extravaganza will be put together by a 120-member team of Prisme International, the company behind the show at the Burj Khalifa launch on January 4.

Dubai: At the stroke of midnight on Friday, some 500,000 spectators had gathered around the world's tallest standing structure, Burj Khalifa, to celebrate the new year with display of fireworks.
